Robert Wang and Suh Jen Chuang founded Far East Foods in 1987. They believed that they should share their culture and cuisine with the people of the Goldfields. Far East Foods was founded to give customers a unique experience of freshly prepared Asian cuisine. Welkom became home to Far East Foods.
Far East Foods offers a wide variety of foods ranging from authentic Taiwanese dishes to Asian fusion foods made specifically to ensure that we cater for everyone, from die hard foodies looking to tickle their taste buds to families wanting to enjoy a hearty meal.
Our Covid Guidelines
At Far East Foods, we follow and adhere to all required Covid-19 guidelines. A face mask must be worn at all times, we do not allow admission to our premises without a face mask. Social distancing protocols are followed and hands are sanitized upon entry to the restaurant.
